Welcome to the 2008 Northeast Ag Expo Field Day!

The Northeast Ag Expo Field Day is conducted annually through the joint efforts of producers, agribusinesses, North Carolina State University, commodity groups, and the North Carolina Cooperative Extension Centers of the counties of Camden, Chowan, Currituck, Gates, Pasquotank, and Perquimans. Since the counties involved are located in the Tidewater Region of North Carolina, the natural resources and commodities vary tremendously.  The commodity/commodities highlighted each year are those important to the host county.   Atttendees get to view various research plots as well as benefit from presentations by Extension specialists  and company representatives.  For 2008, Chowan County will be hosting the event and the featured crop is peanuts.  Commercial and private pesticide applicators credits are available as well as certified crop adviser credits.  See  link below for professional credits.  There is no registration fee or pre-registration form for this year's event.
