ECA Offer Scholarships

Pursuing a college degree? Apply for one of Pasquotank County Extension and Community Association scholarships. NC Extension & Community Association, Inc. (ECA) offers educational scholarships to NC youth and adults who are pursuing a college education in North Carolina. The purpose of the scholarship is to assist students in obtaining a degree at any North Carolina college, in any field of study, with priority given to those who choose a Family and Consumer Sciences related field. Part-time students must carry no less than six (6) hours per semester and full-time students must carry no less than twelve (12) hours per semester. Each of the five North Carolina Cooperative Extension districts award two $800 scholarships, one youth and one adult.

In addition, Pasquotank County is offering two $500.00 Scholarships to Pasquotank County residents. These will be the N.C. Cooperative Extension of Pasquotank County and Community Association and the Raleigh Carver Memorial Scholarship. These scholarships have been combined on the same form but there will be two awards given.

You may pick an application up at the guidance office at Northeastern High School, Pasquotank High School or at the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Pasquotank County Center located at 1209 McPherson Street, Elizabeth City. All scholarship applications must be returned to the office by no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, February 1, 2019.
