Let’s Get Published! Imagine your stories, poems or comics printed in a book that members around our community can read for years to come.

All youth in Camden County are invited to submit their stories and poems to be included in the premiere Camden County Story Collection book. Stories and poems should include the idea of unity within them but otherwise can include anything youth can dream up. Entries can also include illustrations!

This project began on February 11, 2019, and stories can be submitted in-person at the N.C. Cooperative Extension of Camden County office, Camden County Library, or your youth’s Camden School Library. They can also be submitted by email to camdencountystories@gmail.com.

Entries will close on April 18, so be sure to get your story submitted for publication.

We will have a celebration event on May 14 for all of the authors! There will be readings, prize drawings, snacks and a permanent copy of the book will be placed on the Camden County Public Library shelves!

We look forward to reading your stories!
