North Carolina Cooperative Extension agents from Pasquotank and Camden counties, along with Area Specialized Agent, Erin Eure, will be hosting a regional potato meeting. The meeting will be held at the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Pasquotank County Center, 1209 McPherson Street, Elizabeth City on Tuesday, December 17, 2019, beginning at 10 a.m. The meeting will conclude with a sponsored meal at 12 noon.

We will be offering two hours of private X credits as well as two hours of N, O and D commercial pesticide credits.

Educational information to be shared includes:

  • Mark Clough, NC State University Research and Extension Associate will be sharing results of the potato trial that was held in Pasquotank County.
  • Jean Ristaino, NC State University Plant Pathologist, will be sharing about diseases found in potatoes.
  • Anders Huseth, NC State Extension Entomologist, will be sharing about insect management.
