Would you like to become and Extension Master Gardener Volunteer? NC State Extension Master Gardener volunteers provide unbiased, research-based information on gardens, lawns and landscapes. Under the guidance and direction of Extension agents, volunteers complete a 40-hour training program, pass an examination, and complete at least a 40-hour internship. To remain active in the program volunteers must log a minimum of 20 hours of volunteer time and a minimum of 12 hours of continuing education each year. Participants will focus on the fundamentals of bread making. The class is open to everyone, whether experienced or beginner. The purpose of the class is to equip bakers with everything they need to make artisan breads at home. Bakers will enjoy the art of bread making and will get to take the recipes home as well as the loaves of bread they have made! Dinner meeting. Weed control of corn and soybean along with information on Industrial Hemp Production. Speakers will be Dr. Angela Post, Small Grain Specialist, NCSU and Dr. Wes Everman, Weed Control Specialist, NCSU. Credits will be applied for.
