Would you like to become and Extension Master Gardener Volunteer? NC State Extension Master Gardener volunteers provide unbiased, research-based information on gardens, lawns and landscapes. Under the guidance and direction of Extension agents, volunteers complete a 40-hour training program, pass an examination, and complete at least a 40-hour internship. To remain active in the program volunteers must log a minimum of 20 hours of volunteer time and a minimum of 12 hours of continuing education each year. Its time to get your artistic side ready. Youth will create sand art using colored sand with different containers and mediums. Youth will also have a chance to paint their own painting.

9 to 14 year old (Day 1 of 5 day camp)

Youth will travel to Pettigrew State Park where they will learn about the wildlife and the environment. Youth will also learn about basic camping skills and will prepare for a overnight camping on the Thursday night of camp. Youth will be responsible for bringing their lunch each day of the camp. We will be providing snacks and dinner for the youth on the overnight camp.
Cost: $40.00
