The North Carolina State University Extension Centers of Camden, Chowan, Currituck, Pasquotank, and Perquimans counties are conducting the Northeast Ag Expo Small Grain Whistle Stop Tour on Wednesday, May 10 from 8:30 – 10:30 a.m.  Billy Mercer & Sons is the cooperator for the site, find the location online. Dr. Post, Extension Small Grain Specialist, will be sharing information on tests being conducted at the site including a variety trial, nitrogen rate and timing by plant population, foliar fungicides and the current situation with the wheat crop in the region.
