Flyer for 2025 Master Gardener Class in Pasquotank County

The Extension Master Gardener℠ Volunteers of Pasquotank County is run through the County Cooperative Extension Office. In exchange for education by Horticultural Science professionals, Master Gardener volunteers are committed to give back to the community by helping to educate the public on best practices that are unbiased and research-based.
Cooperative Extension agents and experts teach classes with focus on our local climates and growing conditions.

Master Gardener 2025 Class Schedule
Class is from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at the Pasquotank Cooperative Extension Center

  • September 2nd – Pre test, Volunteering and Introduction
  • September 4th – Soils and Plant Nutrients
  • September 9th – Composting
  • September 11th – Botany
  • September 16th – Insects
  • September 18th – Diseases and Disorders
  • September 23rd – Weeds
  • September 25th – Diagnostics
  • September 30th- IPM
  • October 2nd – Lawns
  • October 7th – Herbaceous Ornamentals
  • October 9th – Woody Ornamentals
  • October 14th- Native Plants
  • October 16th – Propagation
  • October 21st – Small Fruits
  • October 23rd – Tree Fruits and Nuts
  • October 28th – Vegetable Gardening
  • October 30th -Organic Gardening
  • November 4th – Plants Grown in Containers
  • November 6th – Landscape Design
  • November 13th – Wildlife
  • November 18th Youth, Community, and Therapeutic Gardening
  • Graduation Ceremony to follow after Thanksgiving!

Class is $145 with textbook included $85 text book not included
